The One and Only

Our nephew Nathan came to visit us over Memorial Day weekend.  He endured the humidity and gnats (and maybe even our kids) while here and we thoroughly enjoyed his visit. Thanks Nathan!

We didn't do a whole lot while he was here, but did manage a couple of outings.  There are a couple caves on base, one being Miller Cave which we visited.

Lovely, I know. You definitely have to keep tabs on your kids here...though I am not sure that we did that so well.

Here is another cave, supposedly a "sister" cave to Miller cave.  Couldn't go in it--hence the metal fence.

After the cave Lee showed us Stone Mill Spring, a natural spring here on base.

Elden really liked Nathan.  It was funny because they would often be wearing the same colors.

We loved having Nathan here and plan on seeing him again in Virginia.  There will still be some humidity, but hopefully not gnats.
