Halloween!

Time for some trick-or-treating!  But mainly just treats. Elden is enjoying growing out his hair a little...

One Sunday Lee helped Elden iron the cloth for the sacrament table. A special time!

The new door sign went up at the office!!!

Sophomore photos!

Lena asked Cal for some signed photos and he obliged.  He did his own little photo shoot, signed the pictures and sent them off.

A lone cinnamon roll...

I found out from Lois that Costco was selling these gummy eyeballs and decided we had to hand them out for Halloween!

A project Shanna and Haley had to do for a class.  I am not sure if Haley's is on here, but the girls both did a great job on them!

Cheer time again!

One part I love is the girls dancing while they wait for the scores.  It's super fun.

Such a pretty sight on my run.  I often jog in the cemetery.

The car is still at the auto body place.  We decided to go ahead and fix it.

So nice to go to the DC temple!  Loved this car, haha.

The kids love going to the playground down the street...even as teens.  Haha.

Pizza afterwards! There was a ward youth temple baptism trip but we had to go at an earlier time.  We still got the pizza though.

Oh, another fun plate at the temple.

Bonus double gummy bears.

A little fun at the mall, no quarters needed.

We handed out some eyeballs early.  A few of the kid patients couldn't stand to look at them!

Like I said earlier we decided to keep the blue car.  But before we had we bought an orange Honda Fit.  I had some buyers remorse.  We of course were stuck with the "new" Fit, but called our insurance just in time and said we wanted to buy back the blue Honda Fit and get it fixed.  We will go ahead and sell this orange one when the blue on is fixed.  It was SO FILTHY!  We met the guy to buy it and he didn't have it cleaned out at all. Also we had to talk him down to $5500.  I didn't realize he was selling it for $5600, but I had only brought $5500 with me. So we got $100 off.  He really didn't want to sell it to us for that price. And like almost all the cars we've bought, there was stuff wrong with this car. Ugh.  We put $1000 into it the first month.

Shanna did a nice cleaning on the car and was paid for it.  I don't love this car, but I love the cruise control! So nice!

Motorcycle rides in the fall.  Love it.

Shanna enjoying her many selfies.
Elden had fun trying out this candy bar.

More fun with throwing pizza dough into the air.

Trick or Treat time!  We did our town's trick-or-treating which is always fun. Lee handed out the eyeballs.

Thrift store finds for the Newsies!

It rained a little that night, but thankfully stopped! Elden went as himself.

Our little set up.  We can't hand out candy at the end of our parking lot anymore since the new building isn't in the middle of downtown. But the back of the Chevy does in a pinch.

Cassette costume!

Candy, Legos, and The Ghost & Mr. Chicken.

Melted suckers...

Hope you all had a fun Halloween!

Autumn Days and BYU Football!

The kids helped with a race for a youth service project this October.

Our town had their Autumn Days.  It's always fun to walk around and see the displays and the people selling the fun handcrafted items.

October is almost always a great time to go on a bike ride!  I love the trails at Blue Ridge School.  They aren't too far away and are really fun.

Haley keeps working on the mural!  It's looking great!

Love from across the seas.  We love talking to Elder Robertson every Sunday night. We love hearing his stories, what sights he'll see on p-day, what food the members brought to him on Monday and all the fun stories about the random cats and drying clothes in the shower. The best is hearing about his growth in the gospel of Christ and hearing about others learning about Christ!

Yep, Lee is still tinkering on Clark's car.  I think it might finally get done when Clark comes home...maybe.  Maybe I can convince him to sell it and start over....

Lee's office looks great in the fall! Very church-y looking...wonder why, haha.

Thought this was funny....Elden's creation.

This trim and wall needed some help....it continually gets water damaged so I refreshed it.

Just needs a coat of paint!

I love the arrangements Haley does with flowers and such.  She did a great job on this pumpkin!

We are gearing up to start the next round of the office renovation...the basement.  Here are some befores of the main area.

Lee, Shanna and Cal headed to Lynchburg for a BYU football game against Liberty University.  My dad, brother and nephew went down as well.  Sadly, BYU was creamed.  Ugh.  They were supposed to cream Liberty!  Before the game there was an awesome prayer over the loud speaker.  Lee was really touched by it.

Cheapo shades from the local thrift store.
