Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa! We love you!

Tuesday, December 22, 2009

Wow! The holidays are upon us and I need to get caught up with my blog before we start taking pictures Thursday and Friday! With our computer being out of commission and then trying to get the new one (new to us anyway) up and running, I haven't wanted to mess with my blog. Plus I feel I am behind in so many things that it's hard to motivate myself to get caught up! One thing I am behind in is reading blogs. With five kids sometimes I have extra time and most of the time I don't.

The first of November Lee's parents came and visited us for a few days. We enjoyed having them here. Last time they came to our home I was still in Columbia with Elden.

After the activity we had dessert...chocolate-chip cookie s'mores...toasted marshmallows in between chocolate-chip cookies. Quite delicious!

We had a nice visit and hope we weren't too boring for Lee's parents! We didn't do hardly anything out of the ordinary. I guess they got a good look at our every-day life! Thanks for the visit!

Check it out! Lee filmed this when I was about 20 weeks pregnant with Elden (Thanks Kristi for letting us borrow your camera!). I didn't know it even made it on the Dave Ramsey Fox Business Network Show till Saturday. It actually aired Friday June 5th. Pretty cool! Go to minute 34:00 of the show to see me perform the plasectomy!

Happy Halloween!

It's a bit late, but here is a picture run through of our Halloween.

Our first of three activities, was trick-or-treating at the hospital. We loved the fact that it was an easy place to go trick-or-treating and the kids got a lot of candy in a short amount of time.

Next stop, the ward's Trunk-or-treat. Afterwards, there was a chili cook-off. It was great to see so many people there. It was packed!!!

The missionaries handed out candy too. Here is Elder Gore. He actually finished his mission on Friday.

And lastly, we went trick-or-treating around our neighborhood. We were pretty tired even before that started, but it was great to go out and see some neighbors. There were a lot of people out! I really think that many people drive over to this neighborhood to go trick-or-treating.

Here are three of the kids with their candy from just trick-or-treating around our house.

This is what the girls did Friday afternoon on Oct 30th.

Here is what Elden wore on Halloween! Thanks for the outfit mom!

YUM! I just LOVE those cheeks!

Hope you all had a great Halloween! I am excited about the other holidays that are just around the corner.
