Unexpected & Expected Day

This morning my landlord showed up unannounced because for some reason he no longer had my phone number.  He came by to gather a few of his things and drop off a swing set for my kids to use--YAY! Thankfully the downstairs part of the house was in decent shape--though the playroom upstairs was a disaster.  Too bad my kids were still in pjs, and I looked like I had just rolled out of bed myself! It was an unexpected part of the morning, for sure!

For the exciting, expected part of the day....Lee had 11 patients on the books this morning!  The most patients Lee has ever had in a day has been 9, and that has been just a couple of times.  Usually we're happy if there are 3 or 4 patients that come in any given day of the week. The beginning of the week we were excited to find out that Friday-today-was looking so good patient wise.  In reality, Lee should be seeing 10-12 patients a day, everyday!  We're hoping the increased number in patients continues.  As of lunch time there was one no-show, but that still means 10 possible patients for today.  I hope they all come in.  We've promised the kids we'd go to the local pizza place for dinner to celebrate when Lee sees 10 patients in one day.  Lee and I are looking forward to the celebration as much as the kids are!

PS--a little update.  It's been a few hours.  Not only did Lee have 10 patients today, he had 12!!!  It's great to have a "break-through"! Okay, so one of the 12 came into just buy sunglasses, but she's getting counted too!  Now just to figure out how to fit the pizza dinner into the budget, ha ha. Great job Lee!  You are amazing!

And YAY for not having to cook dinner if he gets his 10 patients!!!!!! How neat he's been able to build his practice so well.

Gotta love when someone shows up announced and your house is trashed! I just always hope they are parents. Then they will get it! Congrats on the patients! Keep it up!
