A Little Bit of MTC

Our friends are doing some renovations and Christian painted some fun things on the wall!

I love these pictures of Gracie and Shanna!

After we woke up one Sunday morning this is what we found haha.  I guess Elden got up early, dressed for church (almost) then fell asleep in the chair.

We took a trip up to PA for the weekend to see the family!

Jess working a shift at the local grocery store, Karns. Katie and Joseph worked there as well.

Katie's missionary tags came in the mail while we were there!  WOO HOO!

Lunch Time!

Lisa, Charlotte (honorary cousin), Kylie and Shanna

Night game of gaga.

Pictures after church with Grandpa and Grandma!

Eric had a birthday celebration and I'm glad we could be there for it.  We love celebrating birthdays with the Bartholomews.

Since Katie's nametags had arrived, she donned one for a picture.  Thanks for humoring me Katie!

Each morning Clark has about a half-hour to an hour for exercise. Lee went multiple times with him to play tennis.  I went once or twice with him.

The first couple of days of home MTC I thought one of us needed to be at the house at all times.  But during a training Elder Robertson received we found out that we didn't need to do that.  It good to, for sure, but it was fine if he was alone at the house.  He just had to have a companion with him when he left the house.  His teachers taught from the Provo MTC (or from Uath somehwere?) which put Elder Robertson's classes on Utah time!  Every night except Sundays and Tuesday he didn't end till 11pm. He spent about 8 hours on Zoom classes everyday. Sundays he had the whole day off. Saturdays are preparation days with class in the evening.

Elder Robertson in the Shenandoah Valley!

More tennis!

We bought some takeout food from Sakura, a Japanese restuarant.  It was fun!  I didn't like the raw fish though.  The texture was like cold baked apples.

We don't often get one day delivery. I'm not even sure if we did on this order.  But pretty crazy!

Oh and more fortunes from Sakura.

More Sakura food.  Out of order photos!

Elden making his own ice pop.

The MTC weeks are going by quickly!  My favorite part so far is listening in on Elder Robertson's classes.  Hearing him share his testimony and personal experiences is quite a treat!
