Elder Robertson Starts His Mission! The Kids Start School!

The big day finally came!  Elder Robertson was set apart as a missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!  For his last hurrah he rode on the motorcycle with dad to church.  Here they are!

Darrell & Stacie and family and my parents were able to come down.  We met at the church with President Papin and some of the Peterson family.  It was really nice.

Elder Robertson brought his name tag so he could put it on right away!  AHH!

We enjoyed being with family after church and ate together.

Lee gave Father's blessings to everyone as well the night before school and MTC.

It's here!  First day of school and first day of at home Missionary Training Center! I don't make breakfast very often for my kids.  But once in awhile I'll do muffins, waffles or cinnamon rolls.  Today was waffles.

Elder Robertson, first MTC meal!

All ready for school. 7th grade!

11th grade.

9th grade

9th grade

Michael and Elden were off!

The kids heading to high school.  Cal's license didn't become active till September 9th so Lee and I did drop off and pick for a couple weeks.

And Elder Robertson! Grade: Missionary!

He schedule started with exercise, getting ready for the day, personal study, and meetings. It was a light day the first day or two. Like I mentioned previously I had him move out of his room completely and just have his missionary stuff in his room.  We don't do personal computers in bedrooms, but with this situation we did.

Meeting his district!

Everyone seemed to have a good day!  Usually the first few days aren't too bad.  But I'm already waiting for school to end so summer can come again, and we can play and travel!
