Chloe's Bridal Shower!

Easing in to just one kid at home!

The jumping lives on!

Lee pulled out a steak!  We purchased a 1/4 cow and have been enjoying the meat.

Flag folding. Very awesome thing to teach the youth! We need more respect and pride for our wonderful country of America!

Ila and Zack came and visited us! It was so fun! They were here for a night. I couldn't hang out with them very much because I was painting. We played a game Saturday night which was really fun. They headed out Sunday morning to get to their next rotation in Chattanooga.

We replaced the Suburban with a Crosstrek!  I've been wanting something smaller anyway....

The aftermath of Halloween...ugh. We had 8 college girls renting the basement. They not only left a bunch of stuff, but also left a huge mess. Broken picture frames, dents in the walls, spills under beds, spatters all over the kitchen and elsewhere, stains on sheets, pillowcases and a rug, dinged up baseboard...it was bad. Plus they took my giraffe I bought in Africa and broke it and banged it against the walls. I really thought there were toddlers down there left without adult supervision. The mom who rented the space for her daughter and friends paid me seperately for the giraffe. Then I submitted a request through Airbnb for her to pay for the repairs and replacements of things and the extra cleaning. We spent SO much time cleaning. There was SO much laundry.

The foot of the giraffe. Sniff. So sad! I can't believe that a group would be so awful and horrible to my space. I found out from my hairdresser she had an awful group of renters Halloween night too. Worse than mine!

I headed to Utah for Chloe's bridal shower!  I got a $60 ticket with Frontier. So fun seeing my kids. Wish I could have seen Cal though.

Haha, my rental.

Haley has a cool food science class and she received a block of cheese from a company.

I made dinner for everyone!

We went to Chloe's house for the bridalshower. I checked on the decor I bought for the wedding lunch. Kelly was really great and let me send wedding stuff to her house.

It was so cute how everything was decorated!

Millie was so excited!

So much yummy food and soups!!!

It was so fun having Lexi, Riley and Sharon there!

This question game was really cute.

I got ice cream with Shanna one afternoon.

Said goodbye to to kids before I flew out.

Haley made us a yummy lunch!

Another trip to the Orem temple!

Also before I left I took Shanna and Haley shopping.

I flew to Denver that night and spent the night in the airport. I found an awesome secluded spot. The downside was that I was cold and the mat kept leaking air. I knew I would have an overnight layover. But $60 was an awesome price!

When I got back Ciera and Sheldon already arrived for a surprise visit for Elden.

Bsicoff Tiramisu!

We also had breakfast at Thunderbird Cafe. Yummy!

Can't go wrong with the chocolate chip cookies.

The skeleton is all dressed up for Thanksgiving!

Painting the stairs. Wow, that was hard! The hard part were the corners on the treads and also the underside of the treads. I've never painted a whole staircase before.

Baseboards went in!

Elden got a new suit for the wedding! First one!

I've been working on the ward Christmas program. I got this idea from my sister-in-law for a centerpiece. Lee took this wood and Joe McIntyre helped up cut a slot down the middle, and cut them into pieces.

We had carpet installed and I wouldn't use this company again. The quarter round cuts they installed was awful. I don't like the seams on the carpet and they messed up some of the transitions. They came and fixed it, but the seams can't be fixed. I shouldn't have gone with them!

Bathroom sink!

Lots of stray carpet strands to vacuum. It's so nice having a dedicated vacuum upstairs!

Temple morning!

Cal's mission books came!  They are all of his emails and pictures.

No, we don't eat dinner with our devices, haha. Just a fun photo to send to the college kids.

I organized a temple day for the ward and had babysitting. It was busy, but turned out great.

When there's a wheelchair...

Elden really wanted to decorate for Christmas was back in October, haha. But now that it was time to decorate before Thanksgiving, he didn't really want to help. Too funny. But we got it decorated!  I wanted Christmas set up so that when we came home from the wedding and Thanksgiving, the holidays were under way!

Put together the goodies for Lee's office team members. It's so fun doing this!

Happy Holidays!  Thanksgiving is around the corner and so is the wedding!!!
