Clark & Chloe's Wedding!

It's Black Friday!  Or better yet, White Friday---Clark and Chloe were married this day!!!!  Shanna and Haley and I got up pretty early to go to a few stores, and I actually did some wedding returns too.

A miracle---Clark felt better in the morning!  Lee still went to the pharmacy and got him some medicine. Clark and Chloe at the Draper Temple!  Lee went with them as an escort, but he actually just ended up in the waiting room. I went back to the rental to finish getting ready and then brought the rest of the kids with me. The rental was only about 7 minutes away which was great. And we arrived a little late...not late for the sealing, but we were supposed to be there at 10:30. Arrived about 10:34ish. The sealing was at 11:00am! Former member of the Seventy, Claudio Costa was their sealer. It was a beautiful ceremony. I love the temple!  So grateful to my Savior that I can have an eternal family because of Him! It was just perfect. We loved every minute. Lee and Bob were witnesses.

So fun having family here!  I wish more of my siblings could have come. Just Deb was there for the sealing. Roger and family came for the lunch and the reception which was really fun.

Growing up and changing!  What an exciting time for my kids!

Mr. & Mrs. Robertson!  I loved that the photographer was at the temple. She did a great job with the photos. Clark and Chloe went in October (I think) to the Draper Temple and had bridal photos taken then. Such a great idea. One that I mentioned, though not sure if it was my specific idea that moved them to action.  It was a beautiful day too for November 28th.

Nathan brought Grandma and Grandpa. YAY!

What a great bunch!!!

Clark and Chloe with Millie and Millie's twin sisters. Clark is an uncle!  So cute.

Chloe's family, Kelly & Bob and their kids.

Clark and some of his buddies.

Chloe's twin sister Autumn is on a mission in the Fort Collins, Colorado mission. Here they are together!

We met the caterer at the church...something was mixed up with the timing, but it was on their end not mine, since I had called in twice to confirm their arrival. But it all worked out. We catered from R&R BBQ. We did pulled pork, grilled chicken, mac-n-cheese and baked beans. We also had cookies and lemonade and water. It was funny because I just found them online through a search and my friend Elizabeth Peters had recommended them too. I kind of wish we had done more food, but there were TONS of leftovers. I should have found out from the company when I could give final, final numbers. A few people backed out last minute and I could have saved $200 on the meal. Ugh. My friend Carmin said she would help me next time with numbers for catering. I am going to take her up on that offer!  I didn't even think about people not showing up. I paid Shanna and Haley to help keep things stocked. Lee and I sat at a head table with Clark and Chloe and Kelly and Bob. Wish we hadn't done a head table, but oh well. It worked okay. Clark wanted one so we went with it.

We had a full house though! It would have been really fun to get covers for the chairs. But I didn't think about that till after....

The parents all said something...I should have prepared my "speech"!  I said something kind of dumb I feel like!

Clark and Chloe both talked about their love for the Savior and how they're excited to start this journey together, and with Him. It was really neat.  Autumn made a special video for them too and we listened to it.  We tried to watch it but the technology wasn't working.

My family that was there!  A huge storm was hitting the route the Bunkers were taking home, so they took off.  Wish they could have come to the reception!!!

The reception was at The Lodge at Traverse Mountion.  Loved it!  Kelly did such a great job!  Wow. The photographer was there again too.  And such a great idea...they have everyone in the wedding party come early so we could get pictures and so we could all eat before everyone else arrived.  Great idea!

Chloe loves breakfast foods. There was an assortment of breads, sweet breads, muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookiesm meat, cheese, veggies, etc. It was awesome.

They cut a cinnamon roll for the cake!  Haha I thought it was a huge wheel of brie cheese.

Another bonus to getting their wedding photos done early, they has this cute book for people to sign!

More photos!

We were so surprised to see our friends the Yorgason's from our Memphis days!  Such a treat!  Loved seeing two of my cousins too--Allyson and Kathy.  Also saw other cousins--Heidi, Holly, Jonathan and Nathanael.

It was packed too which was also really fun.

We got to see a few friends too!  The Challis' who were mine and Lee's first Bishop at BYU--and Clark's too!  The Sponsellers and the Memmotts too. This is the Young family that lived by Lee when he was growing up in Ely.

Clark was smart and wanted a specific time to leave--8:30pm with a sparkler send off!  Clark's friend Calvin was trying to find Clark's car--which Cal had kind of hidden. Clark didn't want anyone messing with his car. Calvin talked to Cal about what he actually wanted to do, so then Cal told him where the car was. They put snacks in there with some cute decorations.

And they are off!  We love Chloe and are so excited for them and their new marriage!

Next day was saying goodbye and heading to Provo to catch our flight. There was a BYU game that day and traffic was pretty bad. We should have left earlier. We were cutting it too close for my comfort. But we made it. I also had a return to do at Walmart before we went home. We only brought backpacks so I needed to divvy out the wedding decorations to Clark and then return the ones we didn't use.

Overall the wedding was awesome and went great!

Back in PA for a visit!!!  When we got to Dulles, we just drove up to my parents Saturday night and went to church with them Sunday. It was fun showing Darrell and Stacie the wedding photos. Elden had fun with Cosmo too.

A little snow when we left!

First wedding almost done!  We have an open house here in Virginia December 27th. But the main stuff is done. YAY!  And it went well. One fun memory was cleaning up after the lunch. We didn't have anything to do for a couple hours so it was actually relaxing to clean up and take our time. We sent home the leftover meat with Shanna and Haley and they were supposed to give some to Clark and Chloe as well. Shanna or Haley turned on Christmas music and it was fun being together. I didn't know this, but Clark was hoping we could have all hung out after the luncheon because they were at Kelly and Bob's. Chloe was working on homework before the reception. With the next kid we'll have to ask them their expectations of the wedding day. We didn't know Clark wanted to hang out. Some of our kids were at Roger's once we cleaned up. Clark went there with Chloe to pick them up and brought them to the reception that night, so they hung out a little more that way.
