Wow Cal is home!!! Though it didn't really feel like his mission went super fast. You just get in a rythmn of daily life and seems like sometimes people will always be on their mission. But time does move and things change and he's home!
First....Lee and Shanna made these cereal balls that Lee's grandma used to make.

He hadn't been feeling well since his meal in Manila. I think he had food poisoning. Then he told me how a few weks ago he was eating pork and he saw worms in it. He pulled one out and kept eating, but then saw another and stopped. A few days later we took him in to see Kristy Liskey and Cal was tested for parasites. Thankfully he didn't have any!!! And he felt better a few days later. The same thing happened to Clark almost. Right after he arrive home he didn't feel well. Though he didn't have any meat with worms. SO GROSS.
Cal showing us some fun Filipino purchases!
After we went to IKEA, grabbed some food and stuff I needed and then headed back to the temple!
Lee met us there after work and we did an endowment session with Clark and Cal. This is one of my favorite pictures. I am so thankful and grateful for my family!!! How blessed we are to make eternal covenants and have the ordinances of the Priesthood found in the temple that lead us to Christ! Welcome home Cal! Well done on a mission well served. Christ and Heavenly Father are surely proud of you!
Cal wanted to go to the temple right away after his plane landed, but he arrived too late. So we went the next morning and did baptisms. Very wonderful! Lee was at work that day. We've been able to go to the temple for a few years with our kids and it's been the best blessing. What matters most is what lasts the longest.
After the temple we went to my sister's neighborhood pool for some pre-reunion fun. Technically they had already moved, so her friend was our host. But so fun!
