Lake day came!!! We've been to the lake already this summer, but we went again with the Bartholomews and Cal! So fun! We headed to Smith Mountain Lake, enjoying the day on a double decker boat and the jet ski.
It's always fun seeing the fish at Bridgewater Marina. They are a bit gross to me, but also fun. I bought some popcorn to feed to them.
I was really glad that we could go with Eric and Cal, now that Cal is home from his mission. And going with Eric before he leaves in couple weeks to Brazil!!!
Sibling time! Love that they are all home!!!
We had fun seeing Lou Sampson at the nursing home for her birthday.
Cal and Clark jogging the hometown streets!
Beautiful summers days. Ahhh, they are the best.
Shanna and Haley making something good. I think it was donuts.
Temple morning for our shift!
Elden has been asking to chop down the Juniper bush. It's official....we are doing the addition on our house so, yep, go ahead!
Clark tinkering with the Escort.
We are getting rid of the shed as well! We won't have much yard space, so this will help free some up. Plus we want to use the garage to house everything. And if it's not big enough, we have too much stuff!
Final game times with Christian around! He's headed out soon on his mission too!
They are starting on framing out the area to pour the concrete!
We took a quick trip to Nauvoo. It was awesome. I love going there every year!!! So glad to go with all my family. Originally we were going to camp, but then my friend offered for us to stay at her house. It's funny becuase she was in my ward at BYU when I lived in Campus Plaza, Carmin. And her husband I knew my freshman year of college because he (Sam) and Lee were freshman roommates! Then they got married. Too funny. She owns a custard shop in town....SO GOOD. It was so great of them to let us stay!

With Sam!
One of my favorite excursions in Nauvoo, the Carriage ride.
Love my crew soooo much!
At Carmin and Sam's. They rented a house for the summer. We brought air mattresses and it worked out great.
The pageants are awesome. My favorite is the British Pageant.
Carmin's custard shop. So yummy. We went twice! Deb and Matt were in town--super fun to meet up with them.
Oh yeah...crankin' up the miles on the Suburban.
At the county fair the night before the Nauvoo Pageant.
A guy asked Shanna to dance. So cute.
Lena's family met up with us on Saturday. They are going to be in the pageant for 2 weeks!!! Very cool! They start Sunday.
More custard at Annie's!!! She has some fun games outside.
Now that is a yummy looking, HUGE, Wagon Wheel!
A couple more stops on Sunday!
We saw Eric's farewell talk over zoom. Wish we were there in person!
Lena and Mike's camping spot for the next two weeks! Love it! It was awesome because the laundry was right across from them and it was free.

We said goodbye to everyone and had a yummy lunch with Sam and & Carmin. It was so fun to catch up with them.
We headed to Carthage before the trek home.
AND we're back home!
The shed is gone!
A good year for our apples.
I bought Clark new shoes and he threw these away haha.
Chloe came out for a visit! So fun to see her again! We celebrated Clark's birthday early and got some family photos too!
Had to check out Buc-ees!
Prepping the concrete base area....
Another temple day!
Very exciting!
Hello Mr. Toad.
Clark and Chloe on a jog. Clark had fun showing her around his hometown.
The people at the office got Clark some really fun birthday gifts.
And more garage addition prep!
Happy Birthday CLARK!
Haha, this was awesome. Didn't buy it. We have a fun Costco version.
Lastly, a quick drop in to Aaronic Priesthood camp! Lee went out for a couple days. Elden was a YCL for the first time. It seemed to go well!
Cal came up too which was fun. He enjoyed seeing some stake leaders.
Elden left camp early and we headed up Saturday morning for Eric's endowment at the Philadelphia Temple. So special! We're so excited for him and are going to miss him!!!
We stayed at Darrell's and my parents for the rest of Saturday and Sunday. We're headed to Milan and Europe Sunday afternoon...eeek!!!!
