Memorial Day Weekend 2021

We had a fun Memorial Day weekend getting together with friends and also before that heading to Mississippi for my niece Lillie's baptism.

We arrived home earlier than anticipated and enjoyed hanging out at the Bells for a fun dinner.

Earlier that afternoon we went to a graduation party for Clark's friend Penny. It was fun seeing lots of people use Cal's gaga pit.

In Mississippi we went to the Military Park, hung out and enjoyed the baptism!

I know these pictures are all out of order.  On our way down we saw a burning car. So crazy!  And we could feel the heat from the fire as we passed by.

We zoomed in to Clark's seminary graduation!  I really, really wanted to be there for the graduation but wanted to go to the temple more.  Lena was able to get an appointment for my whole family in Baton Rouge. I'm not sure why they had seminary graduation on the Sunday before Memorial Day.

We drove through the night Friday and arrived with plenty of time at the Baton Rouge, Louisana temple.  After baptisms, Lena had a super yummy lunch for all of us.

Lillie's baptism Satuday night!

Pictures at the temple!

Our whole family was able to be inside the temple together.  What a blessing and a gift! It was a first time.  Hopefully there will be more to come!

So fun going with the cousins and Elder Erekson!

Before the temple we even had time to go to a store to return an online purchase (from a store chain located in the South....I totally lucked out!) and get an oil change!  A few times we've had to get oil changes while out of state. It was a great weekend!  Thank you Lena!
