Piano Retical, Prom and More!

We enjoyed some fun end of the school year activities like always!

I was able to go to a few tennis matches.  This one was near Staunton.  Clark and his friend Xander play doubles together.

We spied a toad one of mine and Lee's nightly walks.

Cal used his telescope one night to view a bright, full moon.  It looks so cool seeing it through the telescope.

The moon...can't see the whole thing because Lee took a picture of the moon through the lens.

Haley's dotted picture from art.

Spring Piano Recital!

Clark didn't play during the recital but played for Kama afterwards which I thought was very fun!

Everyone making their own snack in our spacious kitchen, haha.

After 18 years of marriage, Lee cleaned out the Bosch bowl by taking it all apart.  It smelled nasty!

Clark and Lee headed to a store to buy Clark a suit for prom and for his upcoming mission.  Looks great!

Car wash at the church for a young women fundraiser.

Shanna and I babysat some kids the night of Clark's prom.  Lee took the other kids out to eat since Clark's friends weren't getting together beforehand.

Off to prom!

Shanna hanging out with the kids she babysat.

I asked Clark if parents were getting together for prom pictures and he didn't know. I was very, very sad that I missed this and that Lee missed it as well.  I wish Clark would have contacted us when they were together taking photos.  Ugh.  Glad people sent me pictures though.

Shanna received a birthday present--she loves her Blendjet and uses it quite often.

Clark's "last" day of work at Food Lion. Pretty funny because somehow the schedule wasn't what Clark thought it would be and he had another "last" day of work. Kind of weird for him when he already said goodbye to everyone.

On a date with Lee! Off to the grocery store to buy ice cream.

Senior night for the tennis team!  That was fun to participate in that.

Clark with his friend Penny Fries.

Last day of seminary for Clark!

Shanna recieved a trophy for the piano festival. Our kids participated virtually this year by submitting a video of them playing.

This school year our kids have Wednesdays off. We picked a day in the middle of May and headed out to Smith Mountain Lake.  The Ayalas and Gavin and Rebekah came along.  It was so fun!  I love the lake!

More pictures of boating below, but afterwards our family headed to Five Guys for dinner.

A lady in our ward, Juanita set up a service project to make surgical caps for the local hospital.  We had a great turnout and made about 25 caps!

Elden and the phone stickers....

Oh, a picture of the caps!

Clark's last band concert!  It might have been Cal's as well.  Not sure if he'll do band again which makes me sad.

It was a teary moment for Clark and Mr. A and the other graduating seniors.  Clark received the Louis Armstrong award--Lee received that same award in high school!

A drawing Shanna did in 6th or 7th grade.  Not sure how it slipped into the blog here....

Our friend Eva was baptized!  We participated in some of the missionary lessons which was so great.  What a special event!

With Elder Wilson and Elder Lake.

Lee got to baptize her which was awesome.

Shanna ministers to our friend Janet.  It was so sweet--she got these for Shanna!  They smell so yummy!

Elden had his first band concert.  We loved it!

I love that he plays percussion.

Out of order, but before Elden's band concert Eva and Xavier were over and we did personal pizzas for dinner.
