Wow, just one kid at home. And now it's official!!! It's been a hard adjustment...harder than I thought it would be. But each day goes by and it becomes more normal. I think I'll adjust sometime! The most different thing for Elden is that people keep asking him how is it being the only kid at home. He hasn't been fazed in the least.
Progress continues on the house!
Beautiful sunset walk.
I redid the jobs....Elden gets to do more now, haha!
These houses are about 5 blocks away from me. Wouldn't it be neat to buy the old gray one, fix it up and paint it peach?
Windows were removed!
Some fall garland. Wish I could drape it better....
Haha, yes I'm still finding random things that belong to people!
Lee sponsored a hole at a golf benefit fundraiser. Elden was part of the team which was really fun.
Prizes after dinner!
Elden getting comfortable pumping gas!
This is one of Elden's creations...making homemade mac-n-cheese then putting chicken nuggets on top.
Yep, more yummy watermelons from our garden! Still blown away by how good they are.
A gnat flew into my eye, and wow, I had a bad reaction!
It's our anniversary! 23 years!
Homemade salsa with our garden tomatoes.
Very cool clouds!
The wrestling lives on!
Fall is coming very slowly this year. I'm grateful for the warm weather!!!
We went to an art exhibition where Elden's lion was featured! So cool! He did scrach art and it turned out great!
These were some fun ones.
Elden and his art teacher, Mr. Michael. He's a great guy.
Flipped...but if you want the recipe!
Elden got a job! He's working at Ciro's a local Italian restaurant. Makes it even more weird for us with Elden being gone so much.
God blessed us with such a beautiful earth.
Just for fun, pasta we bought in Italy. Excited to use them.
Haha, someone put this on their wall. Elden is switching rooms, so this is coming down....and going to the garbage.
I think this is a place in Italy. We'll have to go back. Crazy how much they build on the mountains out there!
Apple crisp with our own apples and bacon. YUM!
Elden started moving in! And you can see a sliver of the window they they took out and added in framing. Just to the left of the flag.
Lee helped out with a RAM clinic, and this is his breakfast one morning there.
Hmmm, guess I went to Cookout wiht Elden?
Fun ride!
