Wow, Thanksgiving is here! Randomness to start....Cookies from Crumbl. So good!
A bit more bike riding before winter takes over.
Lee and I enjoyed a night out at Old 33.
Elder Robertson's new debit card came....but he's in the Philippines! I taped it inside a cookie box and mailed it to him. He did receive it and then I activated it.
Along with sending his debit card and Christmas goodies, I sent these for the sisters in his District.
Paintball activity for the young men!
Sounds like it was very fun!
Elden made some yummy cupcakes!
Switching out the flat tire on the OneWheel.
Sibling time!
Got rid of some things in the laundry room. They were taken very quickly!
Lee is going for it....putting lights all over the apple tree! We bought brand new lights for it and it cost over $200....gulp!
Working on the OneWheel....
I did two half marathons in November to get them over with. I met my goal of running 12 half marathons this year!
More tree work!
Clark is in a folkdancing class with the sole purpose of performing in Christmas Around the World. We got tickets and flew out! See more in December!
Before in Virginia....
Time to decorate for Christmas! We're heading to Iowa for Thanksgiving and wanted to have everything decorated beforehand.
I bought some new tree pillows for the rental.
Did a little decorating in the rental too!
Our friend Clara was in a talent show. It was so fun to see her!
Elden pretending to be a "screenager".
The kids had a day off of school. Waffles seemed appropriate!
I found our old mini-Santa hat for our African giraffe down in the rental.
The tree looks awesome!
By the way....I went to a church area training. It was held at my sister's church building. I saw her friend lead the music, and I saw her Bishop (who is President Eyring's son-in-law) give a comment.
Bought these for the front of the office!
Lee bought this canvas and had it framed. It's at his office. I love it!
From Japan! Still tasted yummy!
I tried my hand at making a lemon breakfast pastry. Yum!
Loved this part from Brad Wilcox's book about patriarchal blessings.
Shanna bought is beauty at the thrift store for about $1.50.
I was going through things and found this. From the Rome Temple in 2022!
Hair glitter! Haha, can't remember what it's called....Shanna put them in Haley's hair.
Elden...or a Star Wars person?
Pie time before we head out to Iowa!
Lee and Haley sang in a Thanksgiving choir. The event was for all faiths, each congregation performing. They did a great job.
Why take the skeleton down when you can have it all year long?!
Elden Vankatwyk and Elder Luck have been coming to our house to do missionary lessons with Rachel.
Platos Closet!
We drove through the night to go to Iowa for Thanksgiving. Lee worked Wednesday then we left that evening. We stopped at Kwik Trip....can't believe the potato price! We grabbed some donuts too. It was SOOO cold in Iowa!
We later went back to Kwik Trip. Pretty hoppin'! Basically the only place open on Thanksgiving haha.
We did a walk that morning too and went to the park.
I sent a couple of these to Coach Mathias....Shanna was a bit embarassed!
We had dinner at their church.
So yummy! We brought rolls, mac-n-cheese and pies. The mac-n-cheese was a great hit. Thanks to my friend Brenda for the recipe! Definitely a heart attack dish!
Weird not having the boys with us. Clark headed up to Rexburg and had a great time there. We loved being with family!
The annual race!
Alyssa and Shanna enjoying some girl time and boy talk.
Rexburg!
Oh....and if you were wondering about the recipe.....
We had fun shopping at Manards on Black Friday.
We hit up some other stores too like Old Navy and Ulta.
Here is Deborah's tree from the Festival of Trees contest! It won first place!
Time for a Christmas celebration in Cedar Falls! Super fun---they went all out. SO COLD.
Deb switched one of the bedrooms to an office. We were going to stay at their house with the Erekson's, but we were so tired and got a hotel instead. Another stop at Kwik Trip for a treat.
More Rexburg fun!
Time to head home! We left really early Saturday morning. It was a fun trip!
