Atlanta + Birmingham

Cal and Shanna at the indoor state track meet!

They both had a fun season.

Cal placed 1st in state!

We enjoyed another band concert for Elden.

Lee had some continuing education classes he had to take in Atlanta and we all went with him minus Shanna.  She stayed home, though now I can't remember why. She might have had an indoor track competition.  Lee was pulled over on the way down to Atlanta.  Our license plate numbers' paint is peeling and the cops didn't like that.  Thankfully there was a just a warning.

We dropped Lee off the next morning at his CE conference and the kids and I did baptisms at the Atlanta Temple.  It was tricky finding where to take Lee.  Google maps took us to the underground parking and service entrances of the hotel/conference center. A security guard down there told us where to go. We were at the right place...just underneath it.

At one point we hung out in the exercise room.

The pool too.

Cal walked around to some office buildings in the area and got kicked out of one it seems.  We ordered BBQ for dinner and walked around before we picked up the order.

That night I went back to the temple with Lee for an endowment session.

Saturday we dropped Lee off at classes and we headed to Birmingham to see Sheldon and Ciera for a couple of hours.

Pictures Lee took on his lunch break.

So fun seeing a UNI bus in Atlanta!

A cool house somewhere...

Breakfast at the hotel.

We made it to Birmingham!

We did a little tour, went out to eat at the Shake Shack, did some shopping and headed back to Atlanta.

Ciera runs a lab that does full body scans. Cal and I both did one.  I have great bone density!

We picked up Lee and headed home. Probably arrived in the wee hours Sunday morning.  We stoped at Buc-ee's on Saturday for some snacks and the experience!

Talking to Clark!  And probably trying to stay awake.

Game time and back with Shanna!

Yum. These are so good......

Mummy time?

Cute car sighting in town.  Elder Robertson sends us fun car pictures, so we try to return the favor every blue moon.

Time to get ready for the cruise!  We'll be leaving soon for Mexico. Lena and Mike were awesome enough to cut out these iron on vinyls for us.

These too are also great!

We did an early birthday dinner for Elden.  WOW. 14!!!

Modifying my dress a bit for the cruise.

On Royal Caribbean you can have door decorations.  Amazingly Deb, Lena and I all have rooms together.  It was fun getting stuff at Dollar Tree.  I bought a roll of magnets and hot glued them on to the back of all of this stuff.

A cute clothing store moved in to the office space that Lee was renting.  We finally checked it out one day.  Another time we brought them cupcakes, thanking them for telling people where Lee's new office is!

Love the throwback pictures.
