A Brief Visit Home

We were home for two weeks before we left again. During that time we had a quick outdoor visit to the Petersons on a Sunday.

Deb bought us this really cool portable battery--we love it!  It's great to take camping and on long road trips.

Yummy cake pops!

Trying out Elden's new guitar.

Kids chillin' together.

Elden's birthday bunny.

A representative of a company visited Lee's office and brought yummy Q'doba eats.  We brought the rest home. So good.

The egress windows are being put in!

The first day of Spring and Elden and I snagged free cones at DQ.  YUM!

Elden's custom Liljimmy hoodie arrived. Haha.  We love it.

Fun meals for a few days!

Haha, someone left this at Lee's office for a donation thing.  Lee had to call to get it removed. Doesn't look very professional to have a toilet on the front yard of your business.

Elden is enjoying practicing the guitar and using the online lessons.

I've donated 2 gallons of blood in my entire life!

It's been very exciting seeing plans for our kitchen come together.  Cant wait to have it done!

For a young woman activity one night, we paired off and took photos.  Haley snapped a few cools ones with Karalee Reeves the 2nd Ward YW president.

Nice view of Massanutten.

Sunday evening snuggles, I mean tackles.

One awesome thing we did while we were home was volunteer at the Richmond Temple open house.  Elden helped outside, I helped with parking, Lee was an usher and Cal, Haley and Shanna were in the temple ushering people.  It was great being there with everyone.

We're so excited for the open house--it was great being inside and getting a tour.  Also even more excited for the dedication!

We went to Moxy's one morning, a little cafe near here that's so cute.

Letters to Elder Robertson! I think Elden sent him an ice cube....

I made them all write a letter, haha.

Beautiful spring scapes.

Last one!!!! Elden getting his braces consult!

I found this site where they take your blog posts and make a book!  SO excited.  A bit expensive, but not too outrageous.  Can't wait to do this for Clark when he's done with all his emails!

Shanna and Haley share a phone and if they want to bring it to school on their delegated day, their room has to be clean.  If not, they have to leave it home the next day. I feel like if they have a phone, they are adult enough to leave the house with a clean room.  If they can use a phone at school, they need to keep their room tidy and clean. Got a chuckle out of this effort.

I don't normally straighten their rooms, but thought I would that morning.

Kristy Liskey our YW president, ordered these for all of us in Young Women for the Richmond Temple open house.  Also, I've been set apart as a temple worker!  I'm so excited to work there!!!!
