Paint, Cheer & Clean!

School is in full swing, summer is at a close and fall is around the corner.  Haley started working on the mural at Lee's office in the vision therapy room. It's looking so good!

The old kitchen!  We are almost ready to move in to the upstairs and will start on the basement in a few months.

My friend and her husband run a little store and cafe in Luray. Katherine and I went out one day on a field trip to say hi and buy some goodies.

I jumped in a new world with Shanna and cheer.  It's her first year on the team and she's doing great.

Shanna and Belle Merica.

They won first place at this meet!

A beautiful summer's day!

Beat saber...or something!

Haley, Christian and Elden made their own pizzas.

And someone else's dinner or lunch.

Mums for the office!  We are all moved in and open for business now!

I finally got this cabinet painted.  It's been sitting at our house for a few weeks.

We were at the Peterson's one night and Elder Robertson got to say hi to them.

We love his phone calls every week!

The middle of August or so, there was some really bad flooding in Kentucky.  Cal, Haley and Lee went to help with the cleanup.  Shanna couldn't go because of cheer competitions and Elden had to be 14 so he couldn't go. Christian and Kenny rode down with them and met up with Michael and Henry Swinson and Zach from the singles ward.  They cleaned out soaked insulation from three houses.  One night they went out for pizza. They arrived home Sunday evening. Pictures below of their adventures.  I wish we could have all gone!  Though I don't want a natural disaster to happen to anyone, I'm hoping Elden and Shanna will get the chance to do Helping Hands service.
