Mississippi, Iowa, Navuoo & Indiana!

 ;lsdkjf

While we were in Mississippi Cal went with Eric to his young man's camp. They had a great time.  Shanna hung out with Lee and did her cheer stuff everyday.

We headed out on another trip while Shanna did cheer and Lee worked....Iowa!  Our first stop was Maquoketa Caves. Deb met us there with dinner all ready which was so fun. We then explored around.

We got to Deb's house that night.  I LOVE her new counters!!!  They are awesome!

The next day we went out to Chris Schrage's place.  Chris arranged the trip we went with on to Nicaragua in 2019. Her place is really fun.

I guess roasted crickets are a thing and Chris gave us some!

Trampoline time at Aunt Deb's!

We headed to the Falls for the afternoon.

That night we went out to eat with Makenize.  So fun! Deb and Matt treated me.

We stopped by the ceramic shop the next morning!  I talked to Deb earlier about asking if they could clean the ceramic by the time we left but she said it was just not possible.  It was kind of funny, becuase he was able to get the cleaned and we picked them up the next day.

We got to celebrate with Thomas!  That was so fun!

That evening the kids went to a youth activity. They played some games first then had swimming and shaved ice.

We had Thomas' cake that night. YUM!

Next stop, the Nauvoo temple!  We picked up our ceramics that morning then headed to Nauvoo. We did baptisms with the Bunkers.

Love the Nauvoo carriage ride!

The Family Living Center.

The Browning Gun Shop.

We stopped at a couple of stores too.  This is a book at a book store in Nauvoo.  Wow, it just looks plain creepy!!!

Hahaha, a funny sign Matt bought Deb for a funny Christmas gift.

Geod hunting!!!

We left Nauvoo that evening and headed to Steph's to babysit her kids for a couple of days. They had their 15th wedding anniversary and went to Chicago to celebrate!

Back slapping time.

Soccer on Saturday!

It was a quick trip, but so fun! We left Steph's that Saturday evening and headed home for the Washington DC Temple dedication! I drove through the night.  I stopped somewhere in West Virginia at a well lit gas station for a few hours to sleep.  Got home in time to go to the dedication down in Waynesboro.
