England-London!

We made it to London!  We planned two days there, and we loved it!

The Tower Bridge!

Haha, the paper at the hotel.

We stayed at the Royal National Hotel.  We liked the hotel (just a regular hotel). But the location was awesome AND there is a parking garage on the property. You still have to pay to have you car there, but it's very convenient!

Yum.....

After we unloaded stuff from the car and Lee got it parked, we did a walking tour. One place I wanted to go was the Cafe in the Crypt at the church St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The food didn't look amazing and the prices were a bit high.  We looked around and left.

Trafalgar Square!

We saw this cafe and ended up going there later.

The post box!

We then went to The National Gallery for a little while.  My friend told me that museums in England are free....sweet!

This paiting had a cool (but weird) skull on it.  If you stood to one side and viewed the painting it looked like a stretch of gray pulled taffy.  But as you walked to the right the skull kept forming till you saw the skull.

Westminster Abbey

Big Ben!

We saw a few American Candy stores.  Too funny.  They carried some varieties of common brands that we've never seen in the states.

A Landseer Lion.

Five Guys were pretty common too!

I loved going to different Hard Rock Cafes around the states and getting the t-shirt.

Buckingham Palace! We couldn't see a good view of it becuase they were cleaning up from the Queen's Jubilee.

We decided it was time to eat, and a Shake Shack was there, so we went in.  We had never heard of the Shake Shack before.  It was SO GOOD.  Now I've seen them in two othere big cities--New York, and Birmingham.

We split up at the restaurant and eventually all met up at the Legostore.  Sadly Lee and I misunderstood each other and we left Haley being at the Shake Shack. Shanna and I had been walking around looking at souvenirs. When we got back to the store Lee saw right away that Haley wasn't with us. I decided not to freak out yet, as Lee immediately went back to the Shake Shack. The rest of us gathered and I said a prayer in the store.  About 5 minutes later Lee was back with Haley. YAY!!! Haley was pretty shook up about the ordeal.

The Lego Store was very cool.

We then stopped at the Caffe Concerto.  It wasn't that good.  Plus they were out of a couple items.
