Sister's Weekend

Once a year my sisters , mom and I try to get together.  This year I hosted at my house.  We had a great weekend! The weather is pretty great in October.  See the t-shirts? It was fun having this little set-up outside.

Lois brought Jack with her.  It was fun having him around.

We hiked to the Stony Man overlook.  So pretty.  Sadly it was really cloudy, but still worth it!

One afternoon we did a corn maze as well.  It took us quite a long time and our shoes were SUPER muddy with red clay.

Elder Robertson taking advantage of the nice evening weather and having MTC class outsi

Saturday morning we helped at a ward service project...though no one else from the ward came.  We cleaned up a section of the Blacks Run river in Harrisonburg.

We collected quite a bit of garbage for just about 1 hour of work!

After the cleanup and some soup at the church building, we headed to the Dayton Market to poke around and buy some trinkets and goodies. I love this hand towel.  SO true!  Especially the raisins!

I picked up some candy for the kids.

Saturday Daniel came up to pick up Amy, and Stacie came with her kids and Darrell. We had a fun evening. The sisters and Mom went out to eat at Ciros (me too!) and we said goodbye to Amy and Daniel.

We also had fun visiting Cal at Food Lion.

Since Jack is a nephew Elder Robertson received permission to hold him.  So fun!

There were a couple sessions of fun at Lee's office that weekend.

Saturday afternoon!  Seven of the 10 siblings together in Virginia!  Pretty amazing!

We did a "favorite things" gift exchange. We did this last year when Deb hosted sisters weekend.  I thought it was so fun and wanted to do it again.

Here's our Ciro's picture!

More fun with the frames!

Workin' hard Cal!

Since it was the weekend after conference the kids took a page from our Robertson family and got together with the other youth to talk about what they loved from Conference.  And had ice cream too. It's our family home evening right after conference--have a treat and share about 3 talks that we loved. The Whytes hosted at their house.

Haley made a yummy cake that afternoon.

Love the mountain scene.

Sisters started leaving Saturday evening and then Sunday morning and then Tuesday.  I had an extra day with Deb and Lena which was really fun!
