Clark turns 18!

Wow, it's a new adventure in life when your first child turns 18!  We celebrated Clark's birthday early because he would be at the young men's summer camp as a youth camp director. After we arrived home from our big trip Clark started going through his personal items in preparation to "pack up" before his mission started. Clark's family and friends were so generous with mission and graduation cards and money gifts.

Band participation medal for a regional band.

He was gifted his first marching band uniform.  They have since replaced them and gave the old ones to the graduating seniors which was so thoughtful.

Haha, my LED lights that I wanted to bring to Nevada.  I bought via Amazon and was glad that I could pick them up during our brief stopover at home on the 4th of July. But Lee asked our neighbor to pick up our packages, which I didn't know.  I was disappointed that we didn't have the lights with us on our camping trip!

Random, but a fun recipe Haley created. I love when she creates drinks and foods.  She makes super yummy cakes, lemonade and homemade hot cocoa.

Love outdoor string lights!  Now to fix up our yard and have nice outdoor patio and covered entertaining area....

You can put a little congrats for your senior in the year book.  Of course you get to pay for it as well.  This is what we did for Clark.

They asked for pictures of the seniors when they were young.

Sadly I didn't get the decorations up before Clark woke up.  He asked if we were going to celebrate his birthday or not. But I finally got around to it and got things set up.

Another random photo of Cal's dice.

One of Clark's fun new games, Photosynthesis.

We love you Clark! You are the life of the party, great at washing the Sunday dishes, enjoy food and games, enjoy working on your car and learning new skills. You worked hard in high school and even with all the weekend trips we took you on when you had honors & AP classes and marching band, you excelled. We so proud of the young man you are and are looking forward to all the adventures that await you.
