Lee's Birthday!

Lee's birthday falls around Labor Day most years.  This year we decided to go camping up in Pennsylvania at Gifford Pinchot State Park.  Lee headed out early to do a temple session and met us at the campsite.  Clark had a marching band performance that evening so we left after he was done.




We pulled in around 2 am or so?  Lee had the tent all set up which was awesome! We had fun playing at the lake, canoeing, kayaking and exploring.

We celebrated Eric's birthday Saturday night.  And Lee's as well as he requested pizza.

Sunday was Lee's actual birthday.  We spent the day with Darrell and Stacie and my parents and Lois' family.  After church we headed to my mom's house for dinner, presents and brownies.






I loved Cal's gift.




Happy 38th birthday Lee!  We can be the same age for 4 months!

Monday morning was Labor Day.  We spent the day hanging out and having fun again at the park. 




















We bought two kayaks this summer.  Sadly that was the only time we used them was on that trip.  Hopefully in 2019 we'll get more use out of them!


We enjoyed dinner together before heading home and back to school and work.

Lois's birthday was the next day, but we celebrated before we took off.


I gave her some earrings from Amsterdam.  I wish I would have bought a lot more!!!
