Life in March!

I think I will always be amazed at time passing so quickly!  Hello March!  Made a meat pie for dinner one night...it had been awhile!

St. Patrick's Day meal!  Lee made corned beef and cabbage. Our photos might be a little out of order....

Cal did a polar plunge at his Bishop's house, Bishop Leishman.

Elden's pot of gold!

Exciting annoucement!

I bought 1000 eggs for the egg hunt for the ward Easter activity. Lee and I filled them here and there over the week.  I think we ended up with 1100 eggs because I added extra eggs and my friend brought some too.

We had a random day off for school on a Friday and so did Darrell's kids. We met at the DC temple then went up to PA for a few hours.

I brought sausage to the ward Easter activity. I cooked some sausage in pans and in the oven then put them in warm/hot crockpots. The sausage was stressing me out haha.

My friend Tara did all the great decor!  We arrived about 7:10 am. Some missionaries were there and helped us set up tables. We were all ready to go at 8:45am. Not a whole lot of people came, but it turned out nice. The Karrens and the O'Neals from the Bluestone ward came--it was so fun to see them!  The primary kids sang two songs, but I was thrown off because the music leader wasn't there and didn't tell me he'd be gone. So no one knew about it. We then watched a new Easter video and the First Presidency Easter message.

I made Easter goodie bags for the youth and General Conference packets.

Elden and Lee went to the Shenandoah Valley Airport to get a preview of the Blue Ridge Flight School. Elden wants to get his private pilot's license!

Crazy still seeing snow around!

Our Monday game and treat night.

Our stairs needed repainting. Some guys painted the edging up by the ceiling and paint got on the stairs. Glad it's now done!

Cal's fun study spot somewhere at BYU-I.

The YW had an activity to see a choir/band concert at a local high school. I joined them in the audience.

I've been helping a friend to declutter and I felt the urge to get rid of stuff myself. I invited my kids to get rid of 10 things that day. Here are my 10 piles!

Cute flower cupcakes from Walmart...for a Relief Society Activity to watch a worldwide broadcast.

Fun presents from Kat for my birthday!

Lee bought some topsoil to level out the front yard and plant new grass seed.

Special day! My friend Wanda, in the pink, was able to be sealed to her parents!  Sylvia and Becca and Lee came too. We did an endowment session beforehand and Wanda was proxy for her mom, Lee for her dad. Her parents were sealed too!

After we got home we headed out to Elden's track meet in Broadway. We thought we'd just be picking him up so didn't plan for the cold weather. Elden hadn't planned for it either. He was so cold without a jacket.

Clark, Shanna and Haley went up to Rexburg for a One Republic concert at BYU-I!

Got my nails done for our upcoming Guam/Korea trip!

Getting some yard work done!

Just for fun we went to Jimmy Madison's for dinner. We were going to go somewhere else but they were super busy.

Oh we got Shirley's Popcorn too. Free popcorn with their March reading program!

Elden bought himself a BYU tie. Lee showing him the ropes--or the tie.

Palm Sunday we had a one hour Easter Sacrament Meeting for church. That evening we had people join us for dinner at the basement. The Fitts, Frankes, Glenn Bud, Stratford and some of the Petersons. Elden was the golf cart chauffeur!
