Lots of this and this in the post. A work truck headed north on highway 340 fell asleep or something right in town. Crossed the opposing to lanes of traffic and hit a utility pole and two employee cars in the post office parking lot. Wow, very crazy. Thankfully the guy was okay, but what a mess for the two ladies at the post office!
Shanna with her old school record. So fun that it will be updated soon!
Out of order birthday pictures....the girls are 17! Wow! I'm so excited for them!
Key lime pie for Shanna!
Flourless chocolate cake for Haley!
Seminary is coming to a close! Kids heading out after seminary class one morning to go home.
Beautiful view on a bike ride for Lee and Haley!
Haley had a great mountain biking season!
Okay, back to the birthday. Candles in bread to not mess up the pie and cake.
Present time!
Katelyn was so sweet and left the girls flowers and little gifts. We'll have to do something for her while she's at her first year of college.
Okay....the pictures are so out of order...but more basement happenings. I love these prints from Etsy.
Lee fixed up a spot for the firepit!
Birthday dinner! We did Shanna's choice first and will hit up Haley's later. Chipotle!
Nail time too!
They both received some fun gifts!
They love getting cards and money from grandparents. They also have fun with the $2 bills my parents send to them each year.
I'm not sure why there are so many Shanna birthday gift pictures...huh..... We had fun celebrating with them over a few days! We are going to miss them dearly when they head off to college next fall. Sniff.
For some reason Elden and I bought some Crumbl cookies. No reason really needed in the first place because I think they're so good.
It was a Saturday so Elden also picked up a little free craft kit at Home Depot that morning. He had fun assembling it.
Shanna and Haley had a fun time at prom! Shanna went to Katelyn's house to get ready. I ran over some nail stuff to Shanna and she was holding a little bunny that Katelyn was trying to nurse back to health.
Fun Calvin & Hobbes tracings by Elden!
And one went in the Home Depot flower, haha.
Looking so good! AH!
I met up with Haley at the JMU Arboretum for photos!
Haley with some of her friends! Kaylee, Clarie, Jesse and Naomi then Haley.
I then met Shanna at Katelyn's. I had a fun time visiting with Dee Martin, Katelyn's grandma.
They had a fun time at prom! Shanna was on the prom committee so she received her tickets for free which was nice!
More basement. Patti Peterson (David Peterson's mom) shared this idea with me of an unusual closet for a small space. I love how it turned out. Thanks to Lee for putting it all together!
Boom, closet area!
We helped a friend move out of her town home. We loaded up lots of stuff into our truck to donate--filled up our truck more than I thought possible! I decided to keep these items, but then we ended up just giving them away.
One last birthday celebration! We invited people to come on a Sunday for dinner and dessert.
Haha....Eric gifted Haley a ham.
Yay for turning 17 and for family visiting!
