Carl & Susan Visit-Fall-Cheer-Halloween!

Fall is officially here.  I'm trying to like Fall and embrace it.  It's usually great weather, pleasant outside. I don't like that winter is around the corner--that's my grudge against fall. We are still enjoying some of Haley's pretty flowers!

Carl & Susan were up in New England for a fall trip and came down to see us for a couple of days. It was fun to go to a cheer competition with them.

Shanna and her team had a great performance!

Yep...I'm still doing copies!

Lee and I enjoyed a hike out to the Stoney Man overlook with them.  We stopped for a picnic lunch at the Big Meadows picnic area.

We showed them the overlook at the top of Del Webb too.

While we were there we ran into some of Haley's friends from mountain biking.  She skipped riding that night to hang out with us.

We also went to the Blue Ridge Tunnel.

We really enjoyed having them here!
A morning view on my run.  So pretty.

We enjoyed a temple trip one Saturday.

The snail likes sticking close to the temple too!

More work on the basement!  I got all the painting done in this bathroom finally.

Time to finish up this closet!

BYU Football time!

The choir practices started for the stake Christmas concert.

Elden and Liam had fun hanging out, playing games.

After Carl & Susan left, Carl couldn't find his Apple watch.  Shanna found it!

I hung out with Jack one day.

And more cheer competitions!

Lee getting in some drone flying hours.

The youth will be doing a pinewood derby and Haley started on her car.

Yep....more basement work!

Lee finished the shower door and it looks amazing!

Love Haley's Mr. Moon pumpkin!

Shanna was invited to go to Homecoming with her friend Grant up in Pennsylvania.  I drove her up.  This is the chauffeur. Can't remember his name.

We drove over to the Hershey Milton School for pictures.  Such a pretty campus and pretty much everyone else had the same idea as well.  It was fun meeting Grant's parents too.

Their chauffeur changed outfits several times that night. It was pretty funny.

Hershey Kisses light posts!

While we were in PA, Haley and Lee hit up the Autumn Days downtown.  Such a fun event.

Shanna and I spend the night at my parents and then we went to church at Grant's ward the next day.  Here Shanna is with Grant's sisters.

Lee and Logan.

Youth fireside at the Liskeys!

Everyday pictures....

Coach Mathias gave this to me for Cal.  Pretty fun!

Started the German Schmear!

Lee ordered a sign from Etsy and it looks great!

Got this book and excited to read it!

Elden and I loaded up on popcorn to hand out at the Hoo Doo for downtown trick-or-treating for Halloween.  We really should buy more popcorn because we always run out.  We bought enough for about 600 people.

Lee installed new blinds!  They look great.

Over a month later...maybe two, we finally have a new stove.  We decided to get electric and had some hiccups with it.  We assumed the plug in back worked but it didn't. And then we had to figure out how to cap the gas line.

This was probably Elden's?

Time for some Halloween fun!  The ward fall festival.

Haley got a lot of double takes that night since she dressed up like Cal.  Too funny.

We went to the Hunt's little haunted forest after.  It was really cute!

Elden clocking the drone hours!

And surviving the biking hours.

Another comp!

Fun cheer goodies.

Ugh...a stray cat.  We had a few problems with it being around our porch.  Okay, the only problem was that it was here.

One of the girls had Lee do a photo shoot.

We had the Christmas concert practice again--for Joy to the World--and Elden made treats a couple of Sundays in a row.  He told Liam he'd bring pizza that night and he did!

Shanna's shoes for the official Halloween day.

We had to level the oven in the basement and wanted a cute piece to make it look nice. Lee made this stand and I painted it.  Turned out great!

Halloween time means sugar cookie time!

Added these new cabinets...or maybe it was the runner that came.  Either way I like them.

It's Halloween!  Time for downtown trick-or-treating for the Hoo Doo.  Since Lee's office isn't downtown anymore, I parked the suburban downtown so he could be in the middle of the action.

We went with the Earwoods, Petersons, Morris' and the Kittles.
