I had some trouble recently (from last Wednesday till yesterday) with some dental bills--which I did get figured out.  Clark picks up on a lot and without me thinking about it of course heard me talk about my dental bills for my four cavities.  Last night Clark was asking about my cavities and how I acquired them.  I really didn't have an answer. I basically responded with an I-don't-know.  (I am an excellent floss-er...ask Lee.)

But Clark had more on his plate.  "Well, Mom, you shouldn't go on so many dates with Dad."

A very interesting comment.  "Why Clark?"

Clark apparently has come downstairs too many time after the kids were supposed to be in bed, asleep. "Because of all the treats you eat with Dad on your dates!"

So cute.
i have horrible teeth too, but part of it's genetic because they have really deep grooves. Practically all are sealed now because of it. But Bronson has the same problem. Camden and Emerson don't have ANY cavities but Bronson had 5!!!!! Weird because they eat the same things and we brush the same on all boys. Brooks' brother is in dental school and was telling us that they just learned about those that sleep w/ their mouth open or breathe w/ their mouth open alot will get more cavities because the it dries out their teeth and the caries dig in easier. I totally sleep w/ my mouth open (much to Brooks' sha-grin) and Bronson is my only child that does as well, so I'm pretty convinced that might have something to do with it. I keep trying to close his mouth when he's sleeping, but I certainly can't stop. Anyway, I wonder if that has something to do with it........

Unfortunately, I have to report that I had my first cavity yesterday. It was really more of a soft spot on the top of my wisdom tooth. I was pretty upset by it, but they were able to remove it by sand blasting and then sealing the tooth.

I half contemplated having them remove the tooth so that I could keep my perfect record.

Good luck with that dental bill.
