May Stuff

Just a quick hello.  Welp....graduation is around the corner for kid #2!  Wow!  Pretty exciting! And....the pictures are not in order, but I think the meaning came through the intrawebs, right?!

The Heits were here for a week, but more on that later...in a different blog post.

We went to seminary graduation one evening.  Lee and Haley took the motorcycle which was fun.  Haley has on my new motorcycle jacket and pants, but they look great on her!

Haley and a friend from camp (I think?)

The same day as seminary graduation, Haley and Elden also had their spring recital.  They did a great job! By the way, seminary graduation was great.  I loved that each graduate that attended went up and said something they learned that was impactful to them the past year of seminary.  I loved hearing from all of them.

Lots of painting at the office!  I love it when we're all working there together!

An amazingly long french fry.

Elden's classic pizza touch---lots of pepperoni!

We did baptisms in May at the DC Temple.  Excited to have Richmond open, but going to miss DC too! The kids wanted to go to the park after.

So beautiful!!!

Shanna's choir did a great job with their spring concert! They sounded so much better than at the beginning of the year! Katelyn and Connor came too.

Tile starting going in the bathroom and it looks great.  We told our contractor that we actually wanted a 3 piece tub surround in this bathroom, and then tile in the walk-in shower.  Well, he forgot and put up special waterproof backboard so he couldn't put in the fiberglass surround anymore.  He told us he would tile it for free, just get him the supplies, which we did.  It's turning out great!  This will help us when we tackle the other shower!

Cal's team won at a meet!

I get one of these schedules each morning in the temple with a mint on them.  Very fun!  It's for my temple assignments that day at the temple.

I got our new conference issue of the Liahona.  Guess who I saw right away?  Clark's mission president, President Halvorson and his wife Tomomi. That was so fun!  This is probably only the second time I recognized someone in the church magazine. President Halvorson was made an area 70 (I think) and couldn't tell anyone....so he and his wife left his mission go to go the US for conference.  No one knew where they were in the mission haha. But he was back about 3 days later.

With spring comes the creatures and the bugs!
