Robertsons & Daughters: May 2025

May came! Yay for warm weather ahead! I made this for Haley for her birthday treat in case you wanted to make it too!

Home! Fun having Clark here for the summer.

I stopped at the local Mr. J's bagels to get some bagels at the end of their store hours. They had a lot of bagel bites leftover and the lady gave me some for free!

We drove to Elden's track meet in Harrisonburg to see him throw shotput, but he hadn't started yet. We were on our way to see Sense & Sensibility and missed seeing him do the throws. We should have stuck around. Lee arrived about 15 minutes later and Elden was already done. Ugh.

At Blackfriars! We enjoyed the production. It was pay-what-you-will so we wanted to go that night.

Before Clark got to our house he stopped at Deb's and Steph's.

And....wow!!!! The girls are 18!!! I can't believe they'll be graduating and heading off to college. It's going to go by in a blink!

I think I posted about this...But Lee put a new dresser together for Clark and one of the bottom drawers was missing a piece. I called Walmart and they gave me a small refund to compensate. Lee bought the parts on Amazon and fixed it!

We washed a new blanket I bought for Elden---got Clark the same one too. Wow, tons of lint!

Shanna had a Saturday track invitational in Charlottesville. Tons of people participating and it was really warm out!

Haley and Lee started planting the garden. Curtis came and tilled it for us which was so awesome of him.

Clark has moved in!

We had a Sunday birthday get together with the Peterson's and Darrell's family. It was so fun that my parents showed up too. I feel bad that I didn't think to invite them. I just assumed they wouldn't want to come, but they did!

Lee ordered new mulch for the office grounds and just had the company spread it out as well. They did a great job and even put where the bikes were and set the bikes back!

I was at Trader Joes and found these cute tiny tomatoes. So fun!

Haley's last youth fundraiser! The young women have the young men join in for the annual spaghetti dinner. It seemed to go well this year!

A special note from Clark!

We went to First Watch for breakfast--this was Shanna's birthday out-to-eat-meal. After Elden, Lee and I helped Becca Wickline plant some flowers at Polly Hensley's place. It was really quick. Becca was so sweet and brought us donuts for our help. Though I didn't feel like we did much!

Getting ready! Shanna and Haley went to senior prom! They hung out with Haley's friends a little for photos and went to the dance. Pictures are out of order. Fun night!

I love their dresses! It was fun they bought the same ones, different colors. One college girl walked by and complimented their sleeves. It was awesome!

We spent Mother's Day in PA. Went to Relief Society with Shanna and Haley!

They had a brunch bar then a message, then visiting.

Sending out graduation announcements! It took me a bit as I sent one for each of them. And I ordered the wrong ones for Shanna so shelled out more money to reorder them. Oops.

Saturday work at the office! Oh and Clark started dating Chloe. He went on a date with her the last weekend of finals and also went to her house. Their relationship is moving fast! She is officially his girlfriend.

Our internet has been acting up and the kids were pretty frustrated with it, haha.

Our last piano recital! Haley took lessons this year and did a great job!

Haley with Kama! For the duet they performed Hungarian Rhapsody. It was so fun! She did a great job on both of them.

The Weiler boys, Henry and Robbie, and taking lessons too and it was fun to hang out a little.

Shanna had to make a beauty salon for a cosmetology project. It turned out so cute!
