Elden is officially room-less. I want to give my seniors their own room, and since Cal is a senior, it put Elden roomless. We were going to build him a little room inside of Shanna's room but he decided he didn't want that. Right now he has a closet with his things in it and sleeps on a mattress in the family room. The girls were all moved into their rooms and I didn't want to shift them around, so Elden got the short of it.
I love this throwback, haha. It would be great material in a talk somehow, haha.
Feast time!
Cal and I went to my parent's house to help decorate for Christmas. Lee and the other kids did something else, which I can't remember. After that Cal went on a date. He was going to drive everyone (which we did not want him to do) but the Chevy was acting weird. Lee found out the it was basically all out of oil!
Cal went on a double date that night. We picked him up at the date's house. Wow! It was pretty awesome.
Eric bought some crazy soda...bacon flavored I think? Cal thought it was pretty nasty.
On Friday we went to the Philadelphia temple for baptisms! We met a mission president there and he said that his family goes every Friday after Thanksgiving. In the states we call it Black Friday, because of all the shopping and the businesses hoping to earn a lot of money that day. So they call it White Friday.
After Cal, Lee, Elden and Haley went to the Philadelphia Children's Museum, which is walking distance from the temple parking garage. Darrell had two free entrances which was nice. Shanna and I just hung out and waited for them. It looks super fun!
Overall it was a great Thanksgiving break! One of Shanna's favorite drinks. Soda, ice, heavy cream.
Yay for Christmas lights! Christ is the light of the world and He shines always, even through the dark!
Cal bought some custom Nikes. Cheese Crackers.
There was a big combined concert actually before Thanksgiving, where Shanna, Haley and Elden all performed together. Loved it!
Loved hearing Haley's piano solo she played as a intro to a song!
Cute Clark ornament, with a little Christmas list Elder Robertson made in Arizona while he served there last Christmas.
Yep, the kids still love doing Lego creations! Not sure who built this one...
Other Sunday treats!
Lots of people asleep while trying to do home church.
Fajita night.
More pictures out of order, the young men had a campout before Thanksgiving as well. I heard it was extremely cold. The cobble was royally burned, but I hear lots of people ate it anyway.
After Lee dropped of the cold boys, he headed to the Staunton area to help with a free medical clinic. Obviously he did eye exams!
More Christmas! Love it!
