Ely Birthday Trip, Kids Come Home!

End of the school year for the college kids!  Cal is actually already home and it's been great having him here. While I don't want my kids to live in my metaphorical basement, it sure is awesome having them home when they get the chance. I can kind of see why parents like having their kids live with them "permanently"!

Stephanie went out west for spring break with her family. One of their last stops was BYU. They were so sweet and treated my kids to lunch at the new Creamery.

And Maggie sadly broke her arm at the creamery! Ouch!

Love going to Elden's track meets!!! He's enjoying discus more this season!

It's so fun knowing my college kids are all together!  Shanna's location isn't shared with me, so can't see her.

There are a couple houses here that I think would be fun to renovate. And a massive amount of work too. This house needs to be peach!

Little bunny in the yard!

Lava cakes!  Haven't had these in awhile.

This book about Isaiah has been good to read.  I really liked this quote....always good to keep in mind!

Cal is home!  He finished a week earlier than the other kids. I didn't get any pictures, but were so glad he's home!  And since he can hang out with Elden, Lee and I decided to go to Ely to visit his parents for his Dad's 94th birthday. We went to Provo to see the kids and also bring some of Shanna and Haley's stuff to Roger's house for the summer. It was fun seeing the new creamery!

During that trip I registered Elden for his last year of high school!  Wow, pretty crazy this is my last time doing that!

While in Ely we hung out, Lee looked at photographs and we went on a drive. I worked on the blog too.

Lee's grandma, Mildred Hibbard made this!  Amazing!

Drive around Ely!

This is the tunnel they hid the steam engine in during WWII so they wouldn't take the train and use it as scrap metal.

The mining town of Ruth.

See the hut on the bottom of the photo?  Raema's grandpa Wallace built that while he was building a house in Ely.

I bought this cup with the packet of hot cocoa in it at a 7-11 at the base of the Seoul Tower.

I went on a walk Saturday morning.  I think we should make more of an effort to remember Judy--my sister-in-law!  I've been trying to say that there are 8 kids in Lee's family. Not 7.

Pictures of Lee's parents!

Edna & John Wesley Robertson, Don's parents.

Mildred & Lyle Hibbard.

This corner house used to be a school where Lee attended pre-school.

This is the house Wallace built for his family in Ely.

The wards were recently joined back together in Ely so Lee had a lot of fun seeing old friends at church on Sunday. Sadly we had to leave right after sacrament to make it to the airport on time.  We don't like missing the second hour of church. Clark met us at the airport to fly home after finals! He's coming a couple days early.

We had our ramen for dinner on the way home!

I saved the rest of my cocoa and had it on the flight home.

All the boys are home!  YAY!

Cal bought a car!

Clark decided to paint his car white with Elden.

Shanna & Nate's last date of the semester!

Fun last week photos from BYU!

And now Chloe is home! YAY! Cal went to DC for some networking and got done late. So he stayed a little while longer and brought Chloe home from the airport.

Last pickup!  Shanna and Haley on Wednesday night!

The next morning we went to get our nails done before leaving for Dublin and Scotland. Then a Walmart run for snacks!

Snack buffet!

Time to head to Dublin!
