Reed started working at Camp Fire grill as a dishwasher. The kids and I have been taking turns bringing him to work.
These are the steps in the garage leading into our house. We just had a step built on one side and not the other. But we found ourselves often walking over the edge that doesn't have a step. We decided to go ahead and get a step put in.
The new step! Yay!
Doing wedding announcements!!!
Haley made homemade bread bowls and butternut squash soup. So delicious!
Cal and Shanna are in full swing with FSY! It's been fun seeing pictures from their session.
Lee installed mini splits in the basement. We're so glad they are in there! It will help keep things cool for the renters during the summer months.
There is one in the main living area too.
Elden did his motorcyle safety class! Though we learned that since he is under 18 his license is only a permit. He needs to take the learner's test at the DMV, and then when he turns 18 it turns into a license. So don't take this class till you're 18!
Getting ready for Indepence Day and the 250th celebration of our country's freedom!!! We won't be in town, but still fun to have the flag buntings up.
Time to head out to Nevada! Shanna is buying our Crosstrek. Elden, Haley and I are caravaning out with two vehicles.
The other Subaru is ready with a new hitch for the bike rack!
We made it to Indiana. Maggie had her last day of theater camp and we saw a short version of Willy Wonka as their performance.
Cal living it up as an FSY counselor! He was a favorite I am sure with the youth!
They started playing a game where they mixed up all their leftovers. Then whoever lost the round of whatever game has to eat a bit of the leftover concoction.
We have a new bulletin board at church for our ward!
My friend Tara already started decorating it! She always does a nice job!
Back at Steph's that night! We got ice cream after the play and then there was swimming at Steph's pool!
Reed came with us too! It was fun having him along.
We did a little shopping for the reuion and probably more snacks for our trip. We enjoyed these yummy ice cream bars. Random pics from the evening at Steph's.
We bought these in Scotland or Ireland and really liked them. Fun seeing them in the states!
More FSY!!!
At church Jake had on his pjs under his Sunday clothes. Too funny. And their ward has the Priests sit in the second to last middle row. So weird! They should sit up by the sacrament table.
The FSY siblings!
Cal and Shanna had some time off the first part of July and they set some stuff up in Shanna's apartment. Thanks for helping Cal!
After Steph's we went to Iowa. Monday morning we followed Deb to her YW camp. She was the camp director this year. It was fun to see where they'd be for the week.
More driving!
We stayed at a hotel in Sidney, Nebraska. We did a little trip to Walmart for snacks and ice cream.
Made it to Wyoming! Getting closer!
We still keep up the Little America tradition and get ice cream cones when we stop.
This water bottle was funny.
Made it to Utah!
Dinner at the Creamery!
Wish Lee was with us, but he will fly out soon to join us! Then off to Nevada!
