YAY!!! Summer is pretty much in full swing. It will be a short one though--summer goes too fast! I think Elden made this beauty.
Temple Day! Lee and I love working at the temple!
You know summer is here when you get a nice farmer's tan!
I think Elden and Clark were fighting over who got to drive home.
Rainbow!
While the girls were at FSY we managed to have some fun at home. Mr. J's!
A gorgeous bike ride.

Lee and I had a date at Hanks! I love their pulled-pork nachos. Best nachos EVER. And I've tried a few in different states!
Yup. Sorry mouse. I'm glad the renters didn't find you!
We went on a hike with the Lorimers and Hartmans to Seneca Rocks in West Virginia. Stunning place!
Hello lizard!
These are the Secenca Rocks!
Pretty tiger lilys at our house!
Our friend Teresa was baptized! So exciting! She is roommates at a nursing home with a lady in our ward, Darlene Secrist. Teresa was very respectful everytime we would bring Darlene the sacrament. One day Teresa asked if she could have the sacrament. Lee said yes, but in the meantime I asked Bishop Peterson. He said that would be fine but to ask her if she wanted to meet with the missionaries and she did! Then she was baptized! Hopefully we'll go to the temple soon. One of her friends from the nursing home came for the baptism which was really sweet. It was tricky getting her baptized since she is in a wheelchair. The hardest part was getting her out of the water, but Lee and Nancy McDavitt managed it!
Personal bobbing for an apple!
Happy Father's Day! I'm late posting this but the kids made these---so cute!
I had Rachel with me for a couple of days. One day we met up at the Karren's house and they had fun on the blow up splash pad thing.
Car stuff!
A renter left this sometime....I have no idea who it belonged to! It didn't belong to the renters that had just stayed. Oops.
Another get together! I took Rachel, Elden, Brennon and Liam to a pool in Charlottesville for the mom playgroup.
So fun that we have a Buc-ees just 25 minutes away!
Haha, love it!
I think Shanna got this with Skyjo. Nice score!
Daddy-daughter ride!
Gotta get some ice cream too!
Yep...still some car stuff!
We decided...we are going to add on a garage with living space above! We debated for years if we should stay here or move closer to church and such. The money we would spend on the addition we could put towards a new house. Ultimately we decided to add on. We were hoping to have the addition completed before Cal arrives home from his mission--in just about 2 weeks! But that didn't happen. The permits and surveys and town permission took a LONG TIME. We had to get approval to build over the set-back lines. For example, you have to build 15 feet back from your property line, and not go over that 15 feet. Well we wanted to build past that and only be 7 feet back from the property line. Something like that. We had to have special meetings with the zoning committee and pay an extra $300. Long process. Thankfully everything was approved! We told Elden he could cut down the juniper bush since it would get torn out anyway.

Bike parking! A little girl patient rode her bike to the office and parked by Lee and Clark's bikes. So cute!
Love temple days!
Elden's splurge.
We had a super fun day at Lake Anna with the Lorimers! They are so fun to go boating with. We also met up with the Weilers on the lake that day and spent a little time at their place too. I thought the day might not be very nice, but it ended up being great!
Roof jumping at the Weiler's lake house.
I love lake days! I think I want to get a boat and 2 jet skis and rent out a docking space at a marina. So fun.
Lee and Shanna made up a recipe. Very interesting! Peanut butter, corn syrup balls.
And it's done---signed the contract for the building! Should start next month!
Ahh...special time for Haley and Dad!
