Wow, school is winding down and it's hard to believe--especially since Shanna and Haley will be graduating! Our friend Bryleigh got her mission call....she's going to Chile!!!! We met her about 2 weeks after her baptism and went to the temple a few times with her. We are so excited for her!
An end of the year project for Shanna, making a beauty salon. It turned out so cute!
Shanna is being interveiwed at a track meet again! You can't see the reporter. But very fun!
She had a great meet!
Lee joined a softball team for the summer! It's fun seeing him play.
New addition at the office!
I saw this one afternoon on a jog....kind of weird!
I read this book with my friend Elizabeth and we did our own book group on Marco Polo every Monday. I loved this quote!
Game night for the youth!
Fun seeing this throwback picture of Lee and his Dad
Lee with Kent and Sue.
The first grade teachers gave me these fun goodies for helping them with copies this past year. They are so sweet!
Since Haley went all the way through her senior year with piano lesson with Kama, she was gifted this cute piano music box. Kama gives one to all of her seniors. So sweet!
YUM!
Shanna and her track awards, haha.
Haley made quiche one morning!
For Memorial Day one of the clubs in town---the Ruitans? I'm not sure--took the seniors and put up flags in the cemetary for the veterans of our country. I thought it was so neat. Shanna and Haley were able to participate. I saw two of the club members when I was on my job and thanked them for letting the seniors be a part of this.
So pretty! Summer is almost here!
Brother time!
By the way, Clark is basically engaged to a young lady! Chloe Engstrom. People don't even know he's been dating anyone, so I've been telling people Clark has a girlfriend. They were in the same ward this past year and they went on a date the day after finals ended in April. Then the next day, Sunday, Clark went to her house and they've been inseperable ever since. He's going to do the official proposal in June when he goes to visit her.
Wow, last day of seminary for the girls and Christian!!!
Clark's good friend Dan Riddle had a college graduation party. So fun we got to go!
I wish we could have bought this golf cart! Cheaper and looks cooler!
Found their banners at the basketball court!
Pulling out the drones.
Elden mowing at the Hawes'!
I bought us new backpacking sleeping bags. Shanna trying it out.
Talking to Chloe!
Mmmm....key lime pie and Rummikub. Perfect night!
I also bought some mini camping pillows. They are so tiny!
Here is the sleeping bag!
We're taking Elden on a backpacking trip this fall so hence the gear. Plus we are getting a smaller vehicle at some point. This will be great because we'll have small camping gear and not large sleeping bags or large tent. Everything should fit!
Haha, Elden photo edit.
Checking out Clark's car.
Chloe sent me this awesome letter! She's so great! She and Clark have been writing letters to each other--it's really cute.
Haley was nominated for a medallion award! The nominee itself is awesome, but then she was awarded the medalion for art!!! WOW!!! Mr. Michael gave a great tribute to her. What a special night!
Elden with his buddy Jake!
Elden set up one of the new tents and slept in it for part of the night.
One Sunday I woke up to this sweet picture and a text from this sister. She and her family were in the Philippines and went to Elder Robertson's ward!
Elden lit his oil lamp! We don't know how to make the very well...it burned a little bit but died.
Car projects!
More track! Elden is done competing--excited to see him compete next school year!!!
Haley went on the senior trip to Busch Gardens.
Trying out one of the girl's grad caps!
Our May trip! Off to St. George for about 24 hours!
My mom was the center of the party! She had a fun chat with these ladies.
Elden saved a bunch of trail mix from seminary and brought it on the trip with him. Brittany had snacks out and the kids could grab something on their way out each morning.
We flew into Las Vegas and then headed to St. George! It's the last official Bartholomew Reunion. I'm glad we were able to take my parents.
Chloe met us down there! Clark flew out early and surprised her!
Airport life....
We got in about 9pm to St. George. We picked up Clark and Chloe and went to my cousin Kent's house. He and his wife Cindy let us stay at their pool house. WOW, it's amazing! The next morning we got up early to do baptisms then went to Duck Donuts.
Kent and Cindy fed us a yummy breakfast on their back patio. Their yard is sooo awesome!
So fun being at the reuion! With Aunt Anna Lee.
We almost went to Pinkbox donuts. I think my cousin Howard brought all of these. They were so good!
Family meeting!
Pool time!
My cousin's wife Sylvia had Shanna and Haley's grad announcements up. So fun! And Aunt Anna Lee had a gift for them which was so sweet.
We drove by the Red Cliff temple. SO pretty!
Hanging out at Kent and Cindy's.
Their amazing pool house!
Their kitchen was stocked with goodies!!! So fun. We had a great time catching up with cousins and family. A great time. The flight back was overnight....not very fun, but worked out.
Memorial Day we were going to go boating with Darrell and Stacie but the weather was too crummy. We ended up hanging out with the Weilers at their lake house. So fun! And cold!
We went to Emma Hartman and Cortlyn Hartman's graduation party too. Lee rode his motorcycle out to West Virginia.
More car stuff!
It was a full and fun Memorial Day and memorable weekend. And it was funny seeing what the renters left!!!
