Photo explosion! A mini mug from Italy. I bought just one so my family has the privilege of sharing!
Shanna straightened Cal's hair one evening.
For General Conference, Lee took Elden to Salt Lake and then the Ely. They were able to go to the conference center. Pictures down below. Darrell and his family came down on Sunday to have conference with us. We did a little celebration for Jessie's 18th birthday as well!
Need to have snacks during conference!
Elder Carlisle and Elder Shaw!
Conference weekend Shanna had a cheer competition during the first session so we watched the 1st session Saturday night.
We also stopped at the Green Valley Book Fair sometime that morning.
We met up with the Petersons for a conference breakfast at Wood Grill Buffet. Very fun!!!
Shanna's team placed 1st!
Haley did more work on the mural!
Out of order, but waiting for the results!
Elden in Salt Lake with Lee! Rental car for the weekend.
They stayed at Roger's Friday night.
They met up with Deb, Thomas and Hyrum which was really fun. Deb let Lee park in her spot at the hotel since they didn't rent a car and had come by train from Iowa to Salt Lake. So cool!
A conference highlight, lunch at Harmon's! It's a fun grocery store with an awesome ready-to-eat food section.
The Salt Lake temple is going under major renovations. Very cool!
The Conference Center!
Saturday evening they headed to Ely and spent Sunday and Monday there.
Elden helped out and played.
The next weekend was homecoming! We started with photos at the JMU Arboretum and some high school kids (we believe) backed up and smashed in the front of the Honda. Ugh. It's been a mess. The insurance totaled the car. Here is the rental! A bit ahead of the game....back to Homecoming.
Oh, Jess and Eric came for a solo visit the next weekend! It was fun having them here! They actually came the next day after Homecoming, Sunday. Then Monday they went out to eat at Goodfellas. I got Elden and Haley out of school. It was so sweet, a stranger paid for their meal!
Sunday night when Eric and Jess showed up. We had a conference review, then dessert!
We always love talking to Elder Robertson!
Back to Homecoming! Spirit days....one of them!
Shanna invited her friend Claire to go with her to the dance.
Haley and Shanna got their nails done and they all got pictures then went out to eat. But just Shanna and Cal went to the dance.
Cal invited Kiera Wright from the Staunton Ward to go to Homecoming with him.
Ugh...the smashed in car. Cal drove it that night, then on Sunday too. But Monday smoke started coming out of it and we got it dropped off.
Out to eat!
Also thrown in here is a sisters weekend in Indiana! It was so fun. These pictures are out of order, but Stephanie planned lots of fun adventures. We went to an Art Museum, Newfields and the Lilly House.
Steph did a really fun goodie bag for each of us!
One afternoon we did downtown Carmel, made candles and played pingpong at a downtown outdoors space.
We saw a play, Sense & Sensibility.
We ate some super yummy food!
Of course one needs to stop at the Cake Bake shop. YUM! And so gorgeous in there.
Dad hung out at my house with Lee and it went great! I think this might be a new tradition of having my Dad stay with Lee while we whisk my mom away for some mother-daughter time.
