Crazy our baby is 17!!! Random photos first! Clark took this--so gorgeous!
Aww! Elden was such a cute baby!
Time for the first Sunday as the Skyline Ward! We had a wonderful brunch after our one hour sacrament meeting. Juanita brought cute centerpieces and Barbara helped set them out. The Bells brought some fun water too. I was really pleased with it!
Name tags!
I made a goodie box for Lee for the Bishop's office.
Elden is looking all grown up!
Also before Elden's birthday, I had sister's weekend in Raliegh. Amy hosted--so fun!
Home church!
Okay, best chocolate chip cookie recipe!
More snow! But it didn't stick...
Cal had a networking conference in DC. I picked him up and 3 other college students and we went to the DC Temple. I got them Domino's pizza too for dinner. I also paid for their temple clothing--the rental fee. They were saying I didn't have to, but I insisted. Not that this was the case, but I wonder if they thought I was strapped for cash...pulling up in our old Honda Fit haha.
St. Patrick's Day and General Conferenc packages for the college kids!
So fun seeing this from Elder Peterson, our "nephew".
Okay, time for sisters weekend!!! At the Raleigh Arboretum...I think! See our adventures below. I arrived Thursday morning and stayed through Saturday night. I stayed at a sketchy Microtel. But the room was clean! And the bed comfy! Plus I really wanted my own room. It was cheaper to get my own place than split with Stephanie and Ciera.
We did a little scavenger hunt and got this carmel. YUM! I just did almost 3 weeks of no treats and desserts...haha, bad challenge. Didn't do anything.
Lee started getting Bishop items at the house!
Our friends that we work with on Wednesdays at the temple are going to be the new Temple President and Matron!
YAY! Elden's birthday!
I did Oreo cupcakes since we had an Oreo cake last time. It was a busy day, so we didn't do much except celebrate with presents and cupcakes.
I found different Fanta flavors at World Market and gifted them to Elden. This one tasted like licorice. Yuck.
Elden won this at school for perfect attendance in the month of February or something haha.
The next night or whenever it was, we had Elden's birthday dinner. He didn't know where he wanted to eat so I threatened to make pea soup if he didn't choose a place (though didn't know if he liked it or not). He does not like it and he chose Peking China.
Snowing again! But didn't stick...
The skeleton is back...
Great weather out in Provo!
Saturday hike at White Oak Canyon Falls. We did the whole loop, about 9 miles. The last 1/3 wasn't very fun. We enjoyed all the waterfalls though.
BYU! They must be twins!
Another throw back. So cute.
