Haha, the paper at the hotel.
We stayed at the Royal National Hotel. We liked the hotel (just a regular hotel). But the location was awesome AND there is a parking garage on the property. You still have to pay to have you car there, but it's very convenient!
Yum.....
After we unloaded stuff from the car and Lee got it parked, we did a walking tour. One place I wanted to go was the Cafe in the Crypt at the church St. Martin-in-the-Fields. The food didn't look amazing and the prices were a bit high. We looked around and left.
We then went to The National Gallery for a little while. My friend told me that museums in England are free....sweet!
This paiting had a cool (but weird) skull on it. If you stood to one side and viewed the painting it looked like a stretch of gray pulled taffy. But as you walked to the right the skull kept forming till you saw the skull.
Westminster Abbey
Big Ben!
We saw a few American Candy stores. Too funny. They carried some varieties of common brands that we've never seen in the states.
A Landseer Lion.
Five Guys were pretty common too!
I loved going to different Hard Rock Cafes around the states and getting the t-shirt.
We decided it was time to eat, and a Shake Shack was there, so we went in. We had never heard of the Shake Shack before. It was SO GOOD. Now I've seen them in two othere big cities--New York, and Birmingham.
