Elden's 13th Birthday! Plus Art & More!

We did a quick celebration for Elden's 13th birthday.  We loved having my parents and the Bartholomew's on Sunday to help us celebrate.  Elden wanted a cake that looked like a bottle of Nesquik dumping onto a cake. The kids got out of school early, Lee finished up work early.  We did a little party, finished packing up for Florida and took off.

Elden opened up presents that morning before school and he and Cal stayed home that day.  They played ping pong, helped me pack for the trip, and then they went to McDonald's for lunch. 

The bottle definitely was burned!

A short, but sweet birthday!  All five of my kids are teenagers! We left around 4 or 5pm and headed to Florida to go to the temple.  On our way we stopped at Wendy's for his birthday dinner. Happy birthday Elden!  We are so blessed to have you in our family!  Thanks for the joy and great times you bring to all of us!
