We just keep on moving. As I look back on what we do throughout the years, I can't believe it! The next day after arriving home from youth camps Clark was ordained and recieved the Melchizedek Priesthood.
The week was spent playing with friends, family and cousins.
On a hike with the Sheperds and the Hunsakers at Humpback Rock.
We also met up with them again and the Swinsons at Sherando Lake. Deb and her family came as well which was awesome. Shanna sad lost her favorite glasses in this picture....
Elden and Cal's room looking great!
Now, to the TEMPLE! Clark and Katie went through at the same time which was great. My parents were there as well, along with Deb and Matt and our friends Ryan and Kristy Liskey and David Peterson. It was a wonderful experience. I loved talking with Lee and Clark in the Celestial Room after. I'm so excited to go through the temple with all of my kids! It's a wonderful place to learn more about the Savior and the plan of Salvation and do saving ordinances for ourselves, ancestors and others! I also enjoyed going over some temple things with Clark and Lee in preparation for it. This is one of the biggest moments in a person's life! It's important to be prepared. It was a very special morning.
After we got ice cream at Franklin Fountain.
The night the Bartholomew's--Darrell's crew--came down. Some of them had fun sleeping out on the trampoline. Though I think Hyrum kept bugging them. Finally everyone settled down.
We left early the next morning for Smith Mountain Lake! It was a bit cloudy and rainy, but turned out to be a fun day on the lake. We haven't been rained out yet! I thought we might be on this one.
We met up with the Ereksons as well! I am glad they came up!
We rented the big 18 passenger pontoon, a 15 passenger pontoon and a jet ski.
That evening we stopped at a park in Lynchburg for a quick Little Caesar's dinner, then headed home.
Sunday afternoon Haley made a yummy cake!
It's been fun seeing Clark get ready for his mission. He received a few packages in the mail with mission literature. It's getting close!
