We didn't have a white Christmas, but a couple days after we did have gorgeous weather. If it's not going to snow, what could be better than a nice warm winter day?! That Saturday it was in the upper 50s. After jobs and such at home, we drove up to the ever-so-close Shenandoah National Park for a hike. We went on the Bear Fence trail. The hike was really fun, really rocky, with a really great view---almost 360-degrees!
I forgot our "regular" camera, so these are all cell phone pictures. Though either way our cameras aren't super great!
We made it to the "top". What a great view of the valley.
Shanna wanted an all-sky picture.
Heading back down.
It was about a 1.5 to 2 mile round-trip hike. There is another great look-out in Shenandoah National Park with a super short hike--Stoney Man. It's great having this park so close. We need to utilize it more this year!
