Wow, an official teenager...braces and all. Well, technically Clark was a teenager at 13, but I don't really view kids as teenagers until they get to high school. We celebrated Clark's birthday early as he was at youth conference on his actual birthday. Double celebrations, right?!
Blake and Rhett celebrated with orange hair...
We snuck in some swimming before Clark headed out to youth conference. We hope it was a great birthday Clark! We love you!
We went to the pool several times this summer and the kids realized that a free lunch "bus" came. It's totally free for the kids to get food, but a bit embarrassing! It's obviously for kids with little food at home over the summer. My kids loved it though. Guess I need to bring more snacks to the pool.
More double produce.
While Clark was at youth conference one day Blake and Rhett came with me to work at Lee's office.
Lois gave me an awesome "hostess" gift. I love these bowls!
So fun seeing a bag of potatoes from Prince Edward Island!
Back to Clark on his ACTUAL birthday! I made sure the leaders knew it was the big day!
The stake young men's president, Troy Buer, was in the Marshall Branch with me and my family years ago when I lived in Minnesota as a youth. I know most of his siblings and parents. How fun that we ended up in the same stake! Troy got to tell everyone it was Clark's birthday.
After we picked up Clark from youth conference we swung by the library. We had no idea they were doing a Harry Potter day! We hit up the pool as well which was fun.
The kids loved swimming with Lee.
We also did some grocery shopping. Cal took EVERYTHING in. Only one trip required.
We had a yummy treat one night!
And Haley's cabbage was a success!
Clark was featured in the paper. And yes, the ink from the newspaper machine was off.....thus the weird photo. Again happy birthday Clark and congrats on finishing your Eagle!

Heit Holiday!
The Heits (minus Jeff) came for two weeks in the summer to hang out, have fun and do swimming lessons.
There are a few fun things to do with the library reading program. One of them was an outing at Pump It Up.
The kids got coupons for Smiley's Ice Cream as well.
Later that week after visiting Pennsylvania and coming back home we had fun visiting Cal at scout camp.
Twin brothers from another troop with a gazillion merit badges!
I guess Cal played hard this summer.
Luke is a favorite around here!
Jeff was able to come for the weekends and we celebrated his birthday.
Cal getting wiped out again.
Our friends the Briscoes moved to Kentucky. We went and helped them a teeny bit before they moved. Truthfully we were probably in the way. We were sad to see them leave!
Another library summer reading reward....DQ ice cream cones!
