February's End

Elden got his braces off!  We headed to Costco after and he snagged a celebratory lunch. 

This was his first picture haha. Yay, no more braces!!! $25,000 later, our kids are done!

We went to get Elden's retainers and we saw Liam on their office advertising, haha.

I saw this in the hallway. Clark is in the tennis photo. He's standing by the coach on the right. The coach has khaki shorts on, and then you can see most of Clark's head to the left of his head. 

A renter told me she was coming on this trip to celebrate her daughter's birthday. I grabbed some balloons for the event. She loved them!

One night when the basement was open the girls had a sleepover down there since school was cancelled.

Sister's weekend 2025 was in PA this year. My mom hosted with Deb doing the planning.  We went to the museum in Harrisburg for my first activity. 

Next up Zimmerman's to shop for goodies!

We went to a building that housed multiple craft/art shops. These cards were funny.

Dinner at a similar place....a big warehouse type building with different food booths around the perimeter. My mom and I shared some Mexican food. 

That night was painting with Bob Ross. It was pretty hilarious.  I was in and out and didn't stay for the whole thing, but would love to do this with my family. Too funny!

The next morning for Sister's Weekend we hit up a real French pastry shop. SO GOOD! Frederic Loraschi. 

We went to a shopping village, but they were closed for the winter. We stopped by a fun garden center. I bought some fairy garden items to put in the window wells in the basement.

Saturday night with Peter!  We watched the Established Home. I took Dad to stake conference as well and Darrell brought him home. 

I went to York, PA for church that morning as my parents were having stake conference and I wanted to go to regular church. That afternoon we went to an organ recital. 

That evening they made some stuff with resin. I wanted to make some earrings for Haley but all the matching mini flowers were taken, so I didn't make anything.

I went on a walk while we chatted with Elder Robertson. I would have gone home by then, but stayed to take Lena to the airport the next day. I didn't want to but did anyway. I didn't even want to go to sister's weekend. I'd rather see them while I am visiting them with the rest of my family. It ended up being really fun, but still a bit too long for me right now. I am sure I'll change my mind about it when all the kids are out of the house. 

Earlier on Sunday Darrell invited us over for lunch which was fun.

Actually I was wrong...this was one of my first meet-ups for sister's weekend. I met my mom, Deb and Steph at the nail place and then we went next door to have lunch. This was Friday.

Our ward had it's annual Funky's skating night!  Shanna stayed home. We had a fun time. We left right after and drove to Georgia for Lee's conference for continuing education. Haley and Elden tagged along.

We made it! We got to the hotel about 3:30am. They double booked us so they switched our room. There are two hotels in the same building. And they actually switched us from another hotel to the other one. I'm glad we had a room that night. We were able to sleep before taking Lee to the conference.

Elden, Haley and I hung out that day. We went to REI, out to eat and Old Navy. Also went to the gym....I think haha. 

Oh yeah, we stopped at IKEA too!

We picked up the ladies and headed to a Mexican restaurant, No Mas! Cantina. Very yummy!  Their avocado cheesecake was gross though!
